MEAD, KELLY MARIE
Kelly Marie Mead, age 54, passed away at home on Thursday, January 16th, surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on August 15th, 1970, in New Rochelle, New York, Kelly's journey through life is marked by her passion for community and her enduring love for her family and friends.
Kelly's passion for community led her to a degree in education from Iona College, teaching children and adults to paint in her studio and gallery for over 10 years and then her successful career as a real estate agent in Stone Harbor. Her love for the ocean she grew up by, and the fond memories she made with her children at the beach, inspired her mission to help other families make memories in Stone Harbor and Avalon as well.
Kelly was known for her bright smile, warmth, generosity and courage. She was the first phone call on a good or bad day, the greatest laugh in the room and the safest home to come to. She is survived by her fiancé, John Mead, her 4 children, Hanna Rose, Thompson, Charles, and Benjamin, her grand-
daughter, Scarlet Kelly, her sister Rebecca Baker and parents William and Kathleen Mead and will be missed by so many.
Her life will be honored on Thursday, January 23rd, at Our Lady Star of The Sea, 525 Washington St, Cape May, NJ 08204, with a mass at 1:30pm. Visitation will be taking place from 12:30pm to 1:30pm.
