HENRY, JOHN J., II
John “Jack” J. Henry II, 45 of Green Creek, NJ passed away February 14, 2025. He was born in Cape May Court House on December 10, 1979 to John and Verlee Thraen Henry. Jack attended Special Services School and Middle Township Middle School and Middle Township High School, graduating with MTHS Class of '99.
Jack worked at Jersey Cape Diagnostic Rehabilitation Center making beach tags. He was a parishioner and bellringer at Our Lady of The Angels Church.
Jack was an Honorary Member of the Green Creek Volunteer Fire Company and in 2019 was honored as Grand Marshall of the New Jersey Fireman's Parade.
He loved music, going to work, parades, Christmas, and going to Camp Sun N' Fun; but above all Jack loved being a part of the Fire Company.
Jack is survived by his mother, Verlee; sister Jill (Henry) Taylor; nieces Serenity and Arianna Taylor; nephew Quinlan Taylor; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He is predeceased by his father John, brother Adam, and grandparents: Arthur and Golden Thraen and Edward and Elizabeth Henry.
Services will be Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Our Lady of The Angels Church, 35 East Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210. Viewing will be 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Mass will begin at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Green Creek Bethel United Methodist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jack's name to the Green Creek Volunteer Fire Company and Our Lady of The Angels Church.
