RONALD PATRICK, Sr.
Ronald Patrick “Ron” Golden Sr, 88, of West Wildwood, NJ, passed away on March 10th, 2025.
Funeral service will be held at Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Wildwood Crest on Wednesday, March 19th. Visitation will be held at 10 am, mass to follow at 11 am.
Ingersoll-Greenwood Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements.
Ron was born in Philadelphia, PA on March 16th, 1936. He attended Saint Joseph's Preparatory School. Ron served in the United States Army Active Reserves and worked as a machinist supervisor for Spanglers and Allen Envelope Co. He was a member of Saint Matthew Parish in Philadelphia and Notre Dame de la Mer Parish in Wildwood.
Ron is survived by his wife Mary “Shotsee” of 66 years, sons Ronald Jr (Jean), Daniel (Teresa), Scott (Jennifer), grandchildren Ron III, Liz, Tommy, Joey, and Scotty. He is predeceased by his parents William and Frances (Riley) Golden, and brother William.
Ron enjoyed summers at the shore and moved full time to West Wildwood from Philadelphia when he retired. Ron then worked part time for the North Wildwood Recreation Department. He liked “puttering” around the house overlooking the beautiful Grassy Sounds. And in the fall, loved following the “Fighting Irish” Notre Dame football team. His Irish Eyes will always be smiling in our hearts.
