KONIDES, ROSE MARIE, of North Wildwood, NJ passed away on August 27, 2010. She was born in Trenton, NJ. Early on, Rose graduated from Traphagen School of Fashion in New York City, whereas she pursued her career in fashion, including modelling. After marrying her devoted husband, James Konides, in 1954 they moved to Wildwood, NJ where her life as an entrepreneuress began. Their start was Aloha Hawaiian Tropical Drinks, a ten location boardwalk landmark with 40 years success. In the early 1970’s they entered into the motel business and built “Acropolis Oceanfront Resort” which they owned and operated to this day. She is survived by her loving husband, James Konides and their devored son, Nicholas and his wife Jennifer. She especially adored her granddaughters, Nicolena Olivia and Sophia Amina Rose. She is also survived by her sisters, Madaline, Jean, Kathleen and brother Anthony and their families Memorial contributions in memory of Rose may be made to St. Demetrios Church.
