Due to scheduled maintenance, the Grassy Sound Bridge will close to vehicle traffic on Thursday, May 1, at 10 p.m. and reopen at 6 a.m. on Friday, May 2.
There will be a detour in place on both sides of Ocean Drive directing traffic to the 96th Street Bridge in Stone Harbor.
There will be no effect on boat traffic requiring an opening.
The schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions or other factors beyond the Cape May County Bridge Commission’s control.
