Women Democrats Meet
COURT HOUSE — The county Federation of Democratic Women congratulated Middle Township Mayor Susan DeLanzo, the first female to be named to that post in township history.
“You make the women in Cape May County very proud,” a release stated. The Federation is having its monthly meeting on Jan. 14 at 7 p.m. at the DeVico Senior Center, 23 Romney Place.
Joanne O’Neill, state coordinator of Progressive Democrats of America, will be speaking about the progressive wing of the Democratic Party and ways to get involved.
Those interested in attending are invited to participate in a small baking exchange for the evening by bringing a small loaf or half dozen cookies to share, or a beverage instead.
