CMCo Democratic Leader Leaves for Superior Court Bench

COURT HOUSE – Attorney Daniel M. Kurkowski has stepped down as the Cape May County Democratic Committee chairman to accept an appointment as a New Jersey Superior Court judge announced Dec. 20, 2022. 
In New Jersey, judges and Supreme Court justices are nominated by the governor and confirmed by the state Senate.
Kurkowski will fill a position in the Family Division of Cape May County Superior Court.
Kurkowski’s departure leaves an opening for the chair position in the county Democratic Committee. A vote for the next county leader is scheduled to be held Jan. 9.
