The New Jersey Department of Health indicated that health officials are working with Bucks County on contact tracing.
Today, the state announced 103 additional fatalities and 523 new cases. The state’s case total now stands at 166,605. The new deaths raised the number of fatalities to 12,589. The new death toll means that 24 more New Jerseyans have died from the pandemic than while serving in World War II.
Despite the grim death count, the infection continues to slow. Gov. Phil Murphy said the numbers are “going meaningfully in the right direction.”
