Firefighters Respond to Early Morning South Seaville Blaze

SOUTH SEAVILLE- Firefighters responded to a multi-alarm structure fire here at 13 Siskin Lane around 1:15 a.m. on October 4.
The fire was called in by a neighbor who saw a “bright light” in the rear of the single family dwelling that caught his attention, the neighbor then realized the home was on fire and called 9-1-1.
When South Seaville firefighters arrived on the scene they reported the structure to be fully involved. Ocean View, Dennisville, Belleplain and Woodbine were requested to the scene to assist with the blaze that was under control in twenty minutes.
The home sustained heavy damage in the fire. According to the neighbor that reported the fire, the family that lives in the home were not home at the time of the fire.
Belleplain Emergency Corps responded to the scene for rehab. No injuries were reported.
The fire is under investigation by the Cape May Fire Marshall
