Ocean City Police Make Drug Arrest

OCEAN CITY — On Feb. 27 at 3:45 a.m., Ocean City police and the County Swat Team executed a search warrant in the 700 block of Moorlyn Terrace.
The warrant was a result of a several month long investigation into the sale and distribution of heroin at that location. Seized as a result of the search warrant was 60 packaged items of suspected heroin and a small amount of marijuana.
Jose J. Sanchez, 24, of Ocean City, was charged with possession of heroin, distribution CDS, endagering welfare of a child, possession of marijuana. He was lodged in county jail in lieu of $25,000 by Judge Richard Russell.
The investigation was conducted by detectives Stephen Sullivan and Dan Lancaster.
