STACKHOUSE, ROSALIE R.

Rosalie R. Stackhouse, 90, rested and passed away peacefully at her home in Villas, NJ, to join her loved ones in Heaven on May 25, 2023. The only child of Elsie and Emlyn Rees, Glenolden, PA. She took the hand of the Love of her Life, Robert Stackhouse, who passed in 1987 and Together they will look down from beyond the sky and protect their children, Kathi Jenkins and David Stackhouse (Wendy). Rosalie is survived by Eight grandchildren, Kelly, Rob, Richard, Bo, Jon, Phillip, David and Darren. Eighteen Great-Grandchildren and One Great-Great-Grandchild. Mom’s love was also shared with many foster children, especially Sharon, Dawn, Richard and Walter.
Rosalie spent years as a model and working as an administrator. While living in Newtown Square, PA. she volunteered for Girls and Boy scouts. She also spent many years assisting with youth sports organizations, school programs and church choirs. Her dedication to life gave many opportunities to all children. She studied at Jersey City State College and went on to teach phlebotomy and EKG at Salem Community College.
Mom’s joys were watching children grow and flourish, especially in music and sports. An avid fan of the Phillies, Eagles and Flyers. She loved her many pet dogs and was always seen with one. The sunsets at the shore were a favorite memory.
As a tribute to Mom, the family asks that you give a child a hug. Tell someone that you love them. Be kind to a stranger. Do good in your thoughts every day. A small memorial service will be held later this year.
Condolences can be shared at www.EvoyFuneralHome.com.
