SHIELDS, COREY, age 38, of North Cape May passed away Thursday, September 24, 2015 at his home. Corey was born February 12, 1977 in Cape May Court House and has been a life-long area resident. He attended St Raymond’s Elementary School and was a 1995 graduate of Lower Cape May Regional High School. Corey played for the Brother’s Pizza Little League Team and enjoyed fishing with his friends and family. He is the son of Linda (Hauber) Shields and the late Michael R Shields, Sr. Corey was a Cook at St. Christopher’s Inn in Garrison, NY. He is survived by his mother Linda Shields of North Cape May; his brother Michael Shields; and his sister Casey Shields. Also surviving are his nephew Gavin Moberly, his uncle Victor F Hauber & aunt Madalyn Hauber, his uncle & aunt Terry & Beverly Shields, and many cousins. There will be a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at the Evoy Funeral Home. 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
