SCHMIDT, FREDERICK W., JR., 73, of Cape May Court House, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018. Born in Lewiston, ME, to the late Frederick W. Schmidt, Sr. and Marjorie McCobb Schmidt, he moved to Cape May County over 40 years ago. Fred was an attorney in Cape May Court House. He believed in the U.S. Constitution, law, and justice. He always wanted to help people. He was an avid reader and had a great respect for wildlife. He loved living in Cape May County. Fred is survived by his sister, Suzanne Webb; his companion, Ginny Tomlin; his stepchildren, Geoff Small, Kim Kiernan, Cindy Carver, Scott Small, Kelly Beal, Jake Tomlin, and Ryan Tomlin; his nephew, Rodney “Jody” Webb; his great niece, Shelby Webb; and many loving friends and family. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
