35-Foot Christmas Tree Arrives at Congress Hall

Congress Hall Tree

By Press Release

CAPE MAY – The holidays are fast approaching and nothing symbolizes that more than the arrival of Congress Hall’s Christmas tree.
The tree is the centerpiece of the annual Winter Wonderland celebration; a well-loved and time-honored tradition. This year’s tree is a 35-foot Douglass Fir, which was donated by the Riccio Family of Court House.
Friday morning, Nov. 18 crews cut down the tree from the family’s yard and transported it to Congress Hall’s Grand Lawn, where it was then hoisted. The tree will then be decorated in preparation for the official tree lighting ceremony Dec. 2, which has become a favorite holiday event for residents and visitors.
