Why are Trump and his allies are framing a reminder to refuse illegal orders as “insurrection” and “sedition.” Members of the military and the intelligence community do not have to follow illegal orders; in fact, doing so would violate their oaths, and the Constitution and our laws. George Washington would not have hung members of Congress for expressing their views.
