While I cannot tell you who you should vote for, I can tell you to register as a Dem or a Rep, depending on who worries you the most. If you register as an independent, you will not be able to vote in the primaries where the real work takes place, I have been registering every election for the party I dislike the most, making sure to vote OUT the person running that I especially do not wish to have running the government.
