When Sea Isle negotiated an expanded sending contract for elementary school service for City children, the taxpayers of Sea Isle were cheated out of representation. Our Board of Ed members have no vote on anything OC board handles. They don’t sit at the table and, basically, our voice on education issues are not heard. The over 80 kids from Sea Isle enrolled at OC schools are virtually unrepresented by the folks we elect. What a sham and it needs to change. Time to evaluate the agreement and demand Sea Isle taxpayers a vote on that board. There are good alternatives - Avalon/Stone Harbor!
