Wildwood

When did our neighborhoods become hotels? Every summer weekend, half the street is rolling luggage, bachelorette vans, and renters who don’t know where the trash cans go — but they’re somehow paying less in taxes than the families who live here all year. We keep hearing that short-term rentals ‘support the economy,’ but who’s supporting the people who actually live here? Teachers can’t afford to rent, workers commute an hour, and meanwhile investors snatch up every house just to flip it into an Airbnb. If Cape May County wants to stay a real community instead we need new leadership.
