We need real free speech more than ever. Even the Herald censors and edits spouts especially those critical of Republicans. Good luck getting a spout off printed that mentions a local GOP elected official. If your spout goes against the GOP party line, it will be heavily edited or not printed at all. The Herald routinely protects local Republican “leaders” from critical spouts. We need more newspapers and networks that aren’t just GOP mouthpieces. The Herald is to local journalism as Fox News is to national journalism. We need a new local newspaper that is not just GOP propaganda.
