Cape May County

The union took Cape May County to arbitration with a problem in local government administration. After a lengthy process, the union and the county reached a strong and mutually beneficial agreement. However, almost immediately afterward, the county undermined the progress by once again removing Paid Time Off (PTO) for part-time employees. This raises important questions about administrative efficiency, technological capacity, and the county’s commitment to honoring negotiated agreements.
