The County has been wasting the Open Space Preservation fund almost as soon as the fund was approved. They used the funds to expand the zoo instead of leaving the land alone as wildlife habitat. They let that winery in West Cape May build 2 huge buildings on the "preserved" open space. They're using the funds for fishing piers and building improvements. They're not using the funds to acquire and preserve open space. They're raiding the Open Space Funds to fund whatever pet projects the GOP good old boys want. How is this not corruption? This is why people don't trust government.
