Possible Democrat candidates running for president in 2028 may be Governor, (PA.) Josh Shapiro and Governor, (CA.) Gavin Newsome. Given Newsom's dismal display of leadership in California, he would be a bad choice, but Josh Shapiro has a very good track record in Pa. The problem here is the baggage the Democrat Party brings to the table. AO-C, Jasmine Crockett, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Cory Bush, Hakeem Jefferies, Bernie Sanders, Chuck Schumer, Elizabeth Warren and too many others just like them. Josh Shapiro would be spinning his wheels and going nowhere fast with that baggage.
