One of the main reasons I always believed the USA was exceptional was that we were usually the good guys. I know there's some naivete there but I thought we were at least a distance apart from German U-Boat commanders in WWII who machine gunned survivors of a sinking or Japanese soldiers who tortured and killed pretty much everyone who surrendered. Thanks to Trump and his supporters though, we are now the dictator-loving bad guys and most of the free world hates us. Thanks DJT!
