Ocean City needs to wake up. Our neighborhoods are turning into nonstop Airbnb turnover zones while year-round residents get priced out and ignored, or you have it becoming Ocean-Avalon with massive properties, with owners barely there. How many more homes have to become mini-hotels before the city admits it sold out the people who actually live here? Maybe it's time Ocean City remembers it's supposed to be a community - not a cash machine for out-of-town investors or airbnb shareholders.
