Life Guards new recruits and seasoned guards should have to do the same certifications/ re-certifications. The new recruits have to run the beach, run on the streets in a certain time and swim in the ocean. The seasoned guards should have to do the same thing. That would be to do the timed run and swim in the ocean not the bay. Unless they are not capable of doing the re-certification process! Lead by example ! Never have them do something you can’t do yourself
