It might be a community service for The Herald to do a column on Irritable Male Syndrome (IMS), a real condition that affects older men. According to the researcher who identified this, “It’s a state of hypersensitivity, anxiety, frustration and anger that occurs in males that’s associated with biochemical changes, hormonal fluctuations, stress and loss of male identity.” It explains many of the posts in Spout Off and you would do Cape May county a service by educating on this condition.
