It isn't unreasonable to expect the county's "open spaces" program to actually preserve open space. The County really needs to step up their efforts to preserve open space. The County needs to be way more aggressive in its efforts to preserve open space. Use eminent domain if necessary. Saving land from being lost to more housing developments is the most important thing. So far the County seems more committed to developing every acre possible. We need to vote out all commissioners if they aren't going to change their ways and continue to worry about pleasing their developer friends.
