If the best you can do in 2025 is say ‘no change,’ then you’re not listening to reality. Climate, tourism, safety, housing — these are all changing. I want leaders who acknowledge it and offer thoughtful solutions. I went to the Candidates Night expecting to be impressed by the so-called ‘progressives,’ but was surprised to find the most forward-thinking ideas came from candidates I hadn’t expected.
