I was talking to my friend who has a bench on Cape May promenade and she was just notified that they are removing all the benches on the promenade. She was given a choice of she can have hers back and then get into the new program and share the cost of $2500 with Cape May. That’s how it should be done in our town. Give them options of having their bench removed and they take it or pay the city a fee of having it up there.
