I have empathy for the Vance family, the wife and her children. They are too young to have their lives so disrupted when they can’t even understand why folks feel the way they do about their father. And based on statements from the VP himself from several years ago, Mrs. Vance married a man who has changed his way of thinking since they got together. I’m sure she doesn’t appreciate being booed just because she’s going on vacation or going to a show.
