I appreciate the article in a local magazine about the Mayor of Cape May. However , listed as one of his wildest dreams and wishes is “ affordable housing”. Why does that have to be a wild dream? Why cant politicians have forward thinking about solving this problem? Shouldn’t local government care about keeping the town feeling like a town and not just a vacation ? Let’s see Cape May DO something- get the ball rolling. Look to other coastal communities for ideas such as limiting short term rentals.
