I have several ex military in my family and they understand too how dangerous the people you mentioned are and what consequences they will face. Like you I understand why chain of command has to be followed and never questioned by those given any orders. During conflict there’s no time for debate or time to waste. Those congresspeople even though some were in the military don’t seem to understand, or do they? They’ll do anything apparently even lie to keep power. Won’t end well for them.
