As a teacher of this county, I would like to respond to the article on test scores. First and foremost, we as teachers have become more and more the parental guidance that is lacking at home! We can't do our job when students come to school mentally drained from lack of guidance at home. Students more than ever come into the school buildings each morning not fed, not parented, and obsessed with their AI parents (their cell phones)! It takes a village to raise a child! We care about your children! It's time for parents to step up and support their own kids and schools more! Show up!
