A huge thank-you to the unstoppable Ladies Auxiliary for transforming our firemans parade fire truck into the most dazzling rolling tea party Cape May County has ever seen! That engine didn’t just drive down the street—it bloomed. The ladder was wrapped in pastel bunting and crocheted garlands thick enough to double as winter scarves, mirrors dripped with silk hydrangeas, & two glitter-dusted garden gnomes in the hose bed. Instead of the usual siren, we were treated to Doris Day tunes and the occasional “B-4!” from a live bingo caller, while a gentle cloud of lavender wafted in the air.
