A college debate coach has stated that what Kirk called debating was in fact bullying. Kirk was a 31 year old who debated college students who were a decade younger. These debates had no set time to state their case or for a formal rebuttal. Kirk almost always interrupted the other person, make a rude remark, then changed the subject.
