Wildwood Woman Killed in Vineland Crash

VINELAND – A Wildwood woman who was the passenger in a vehicle died after the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree on Saturday, Sept. 28, at around 12:30 a.m.

According to wpgtalkradio.com, the Vineland Police Department responded to a single-car crash on East Sherman Avenue, near Hance Bridge Road, at about that time.

A preliminary investigation found that Armando Garcia, 52, of Vineland, was driving a 2009 Nissan Pathfinder eastbound on East Sherman Avenue when he veered into a wooded area just east of Hance Bridge Road and struck a tree.

As a result of the collision, his front-seat passenger, Keila Osoria-Garcia, 37, of Wildwood, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Garcia was taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden for treatment of serious injuries; he was last reported in stable condition. There were no charges filed as of press deadline.
