To the Editor:
I really don’t understand the people who complain about the benches on the promenade. If it wasn’t for the people who supplied and paid for the benches that have sentiments put on them, there wouldn’t be a place to sit, rest or just enjoy the great outdoors.
Seeing the benches along the mile-and-a-half promenade is a welcoming sight. Without the benches the promenade would sure look barren.
