Summer is coming to an end, but the fun continues at the Cape May County Park and Zoo. Fall through Winter holiday events are being added the events calendar, and it looks to be the best year yet. The events are sponsored by the Cape May County Board of Commissioners and are free and open to the public.
“The Park and Zoo team has truly outdone themselves with an exciting lineup of fall and winter events that are sure to bring joy to visitors of all ages. I encourage everyone to mark their calendars and take advantage of these free, family-friendly experiences. I look forward to being a part of the excitement again this year, you don’t want to miss out on the fun”, said Commissioner Andrew Bulakowski, liaison to the Parks and Zoo.
October 25, 2025 – Halloween fun returns to Cape May County with one of the area’s most anticipated family events: Boo at the Zoo, taking place from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Cape May County Park & Zoo.
This is a full day of festivities for all ages. Guests are encouraged to come in costume and enjoy a wide variety of attractions, including children’s games, a craft station, candy giveaways, live entertainment, animal encounters, an inflatable obstacle course, and much more.
A highlight of the day is the Halloween Costume Contest, with registration beginning at 10:00 AM and the contest kicking off at 11:00 AM. Prizes will be awarded during a special presentation following the contest.
At 12:30 PM, don’t miss a lively musical performance by a Hocus Pocus-inspired witch trio on the center stage. Throughout the event, Master DJ & Sound will keep the energy high with a mix of Halloween-themed music.
November 8, 2025 – Be on the lookout when the Pirates and Princesses take over the Zoo from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Visitors of all ages are invited to wear their best dress up apparel to this exciting event, which includes activities for the kids, craft station, games, entertainment, inflatable pirate ship and of course Animals! Coronation ceremonies and Disney Trivia will be held by your favorite princesses along with lots of Pirate Fun!
November 29, 2025 – Start of the holiday season with Santa’s Tree Lighting Celebration scheduled from 2:00 to 6:00 pm. Join the Holiday festivities with Santa’s village shopping, live music and carolers, an ice sculpture carving, and lots of family friendly, free entertainment. Santa arrives at 5:00 pm for photos with the kids.
The Cape May County Park & Zoo is open every day except Christmas currently from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm. The Zoo Fall/Winter hours begin Friday, October 31, 2025 from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm. Find more information about all our events at www.cmcZoo.com
