What: Three days of celebration for the 120th anniversary of a local Baptist church
Where: First Baptist Church of Whitesboro, 8 W Main St, Whitesboro
The First Baptist Church of Whitesboro celebrates 120 years of worship with a special Friday revival service on October 25 at 6 p.m., led by Rev. Douglas H. Moore.
Dr. Whendel White, a distinguished professor of Art at Stockton, will give a presentation at the 120th anniversary banquet the next day, on Saturday, October 26 at 2 p.m. Come to this special banquet at The Shore Club, 1170 Golf Club Road in Court House, for a $60 ticket price.
Two special Sunday services take place on October 27, one led by Dr. James Dunkins from Shiloh Baptist church in Port Norris, at 11 a.m. and a second service led by Bishop Clifton Freeman Jr., from Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Camden, at 3 p.m.
