LOWER TOWNSHIP – A Villas resident was the target of a SWAT team raid related to the distribution of heroin and cocaine, the county Prosecutor’s Office said in a press release.
In a multiagency operation, police arrested Darryl Jones, 48, following an investigation. The Prosecutor’s Office said police seized approximately 100 bags of heroin, more than one-half ounce of crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and about $1,300 in cash.
Jones is charged with second-degree possession with intent to distribute cocaine in an amount more than one-half ounce; third-degree possession with intent to distribute heroin in an amount less than one-half ounce; second-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance within 500 feet of a public place; third-degree possession of cocaine; third-degree possession of heroin; fourth-degree possession of drug paraphernalia, and third-degree money laundering.
