A selection of food on the deck at Stowaways, the new restaurant at the Cape May Lewes Ferry terminal.

From the Cape May Lewes Ferry

The Delaware River and Bay Authority (DRBA) and Cape May-Lewes Ferry (CMLF) officials announce the grand opening of Stowaways, a multi-concept dining destination with panoramic views of the Delaware Bay at the Cape May, New Jersey Ferry Terminal.

Stowaways includes three food and beverage locations within the terminal building at 1200 Lincoln Boulevard: Stowaways Bar & Restaurant, Stowaways Café, and The Overlook at Stowaways, a catering space for private events and functions.

Stowaways Bar & Restaurant

Executive Chef Amy Salcedo and the team have crafted an extensive menu featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients, with a special section of dishes from Philadelphia-based Chickie’s & Pete’s. The digital QR-code menu system ensures swift, on-demand ordering. The drink menu includes draft beers, handcrafted cocktails, and signature crushes. Happy hour specials are available Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The design blends indoor and outdoor spaces, with large bars offering views of the Ferry and sunsets. A spacious lawn is perfect for relaxation and lawn games. Live performances add to the ambiance.

Stowaways Bar & Restaurant is open Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Stowaways Café

Stowaways Café offers La Colombe coffee, assorted teas, and craft tea beverages. The “Grab + Stow” section provides additional beverage options and snacks. Stowaways Gelato offers sweet treats for visitors. The café also sells signature merchandise. Stowaways Café is open Monday through Sunday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Overlook at Stowaways

The Overlook at Stowaways offers ocean views and can accommodate up to 95 guests for special events, including weddings, receptions, showers, birthdays, family reunions, or corporate events. For details or to book an event, visit the Stowaways Event Inquiry page.

“As Executive Chef at Stowaways Bar & Restaurant, I extend a warm welcome to guests traveling on the Ferry and those who call Cape May home,” said Salcedo. “The atmosphere, dishes, and flavors at Stowaways celebrate our shore town and deliver a memorable experience. Whether you’re a visitor or a local, my team invites you to savor the essence of our coastal community with every bite.”
