DENNIS TOWNSHIP – The New Jersey State Police found a body in a refrigerator Sunday afternoon in Belleplain State Forest.
According to information released by State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron, troopers were sent to a part of the forest in Dennis Township on Sunday, Dec. 22, at 2:54 p.m. and discovered the body.
The State Police did not say where the refrigerator was located, or if the body was that of a man, woman or child. The investigation is ongoing, and no additional information is available at this time, the State Police said.
Belleplain State Forest is a 21,320-acre state forest located in northern Cape May County and eastern Cumberland County.
