SOENS, DAVID

SOENS, DAVID David Soens (10/19/1969 11/26/2023) passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 26, 2023. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Christy Case Soens of 28 years and his four children: Bailey, Tegan, Addison and Blair. He was born in Abington, PA and grew up in Avalon, NJ where he graduated from Avalon Elementary School in 1984. There he met many close friends while he surfed, played soccer, basketball, baseball and was a solid friend and teammate. He graduated from The Woodlynde School in St. David’s, PA in 1988 where he was a standout lacrosse, soccer player and wrestler. He graduated from High Point University in NC where he met his beautiful wife and married on July 1, 1995. Dave was a real estate agent for Avalon Real Estate and he and his family lived in Cape May Court House. He and his wonderful family eventually migrated to Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Dave was an early developer in the EV charging industry as he co-founded one of the earliest EV charging companies, U-Go Stations, Inc.. He later co-founded and developed Uptime Charger. He is survived by, his wife, Christy Case Soens, his children: Bailey, Tegan, Addison and Blair, his mother Mary Jane Soens, his father, William Soens, his brothers, Scott Soens (Alison) and Michael Soens (Melissa Selva), his cousin/brother, Shaun Bacon (Erin), his brother-in-law, Don and family and sister-in-law, Kim and family along with an endless list of relatives and friends that will miss his kind, gentle soul.
