SHUTE, ROSEANNA
Roseanna (Kubiak) Shute, 88, of Cape May Court House, NJ – passed away peacefully after a brief illness at Fountain Springs Nursing Home on Monday, September 1, 2025. Roseanna was born on November 30, 1936, in Dennisville, NJ, to the late Peter and Annabelle (Robinson) Kubiak. She graduated from Middle Township High School in 1955, and later that same year she married her sweetheart, Jim. Throughout her life, Roseanna held many titles waitress, bookkeeper, tax preparer, baker, diet clerk but her favorite title by far was Mom-Mom to her three grandchildren.
Roseanna is survived by her daughters Cheryl (Jim) Freeman and Deanna (Gerald) Podgorski, her grandchildren Amanda (Maxwell) Yoakum, Gerald Podgorski II, and Emily Freeman (Aaron Foreman), as well as her brother Frank Kubiak. She was predeceased by her husband, James Shute, her sister, Frances Lorenzo, and her brothers, Edward Kubiak and William Kubiak.
Services will be at Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210 on Saturday, September 13, 2025. Visitation will be 10 to 11:30 a.m. Memorial Service will begin at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery in South Dennis, NJ.
