SEA ISLE CITY – The city council adopted new beach tags fees for 2024 at its meeting Tuesday, Oct. 24.

Season tags will increase from $25 to $30, with weekly tags going from $10 to $15 and daily tags moving from $5 to $10. Seasonal tags purchased prior to May 16 are discounted and will sell for $25, up from $20 in 2023. Weekly tags are good from Saturday at 10 a.m. to the following Saturday at 5 p.m.

The fees are used to “improve, maintain, protect and police the beaches.” City officials said an increase was necessary due to rising staff and beach maintenance expense.
