CHARLOTTE
Charlotte Rohrer-Devries (nee Stauffer), 102, of Wildwood Crest, NJ, passed away on Sunday evening, December 22, 2024, at the Cooper Hospital U.M.C, Camden, NJ. Charlotte was born in Ohio, raised in Vineland, and resided in Wildwood Crest since 1986. She was the daughter of the late Etta Louise (Yost) & Joseph Roy Stauffer and the wife of the late, William H. Rohrer, Jr. who died in 1991 & Jacob Devries in 1996. She was also preceded in death by her sister; Rhoda Nuttall and brothers; Wayne and Glen Stauffer.
Charlotte was a full time wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to caring for her family, she also worked as a glassworker at Owens-Illinois Kimble Glass Co. She interrupted her service to raise her children and later returned to Kimble Glass, where she was employed in the cafeteria. Charlotte was a former member of the Covenant Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Vineland and was a member of the Calvary Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Wildwood. The church was her life, and she was very involved in their many ministries over the years. Charlotte enjoyed painting, cake decorating, and crocheting.
Charlotte is survived by her 2 sons; Thomas (Barbara) Rohrer, William H. Rohrer, III, 2 daughters; Nancy Brown, and Julie Morris. 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren & 2 great great grandchildren, as well as several nieces & nephews.
Relatives & friends will be received on Friday, January 17, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 S. Main Rd., Vineland, NJ, where her Memorial service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Greenwood Memorial Park, Millville, NJ.
