ROBERTS, ASHLEY LYNN Ashley Lynn Roberts, 32, of Lexington, N.C., departed this life on March 7, 2024. Born on May 21,1991, to Lisa Scheid Roberts and the late Charles Roberts, Ashley grew up in South Dennis, NJ. She was a graduate of MTHS. She moved to NC in 2013 and that is where she met her loyal significant other, Michael Pendleton, who loved her wholeheartedly. Two years later they became proud parents of McKenzie Lynn who brought so much joy and excitement into their lives. Having grown up "country," Ashley was not afraid to get dirty or try something new. She never turned down an adventure. She liked to go fishing and camping, listening to all types of music, dirt bike riding, doing carpentry and even mechanic work. She also enjoyed gardening and scrapbooking. She mostly liked spending time with her loved ones. She was a beautiful soul with a huge heart and loved with every bit of it. Ashley is survived by her beautiful daughter McKenzie, longtime love Michael, mother Lisa, grandmother Betty Patchell, 4 siblings – Margie, Charles, Krista (Sammy) and Cory, six nieces and nephews, one great-niece, aunts, uncles, many cousins, and friends. While Ashley is greatly missed, she will forever be loved and remembered. If you were fortunate enough to have spent a day, a few hours or even a minute in her presence, you'd for sure have a great time and definitely a good laugh – guaranteed. She always loved a party and having a good time. We will celebrate her life on Saturday April 27th at the VFW in Belleplain, NJ, at 2:00 PM. All that knew Ashley are welcome to attend.
