Cape May City Board Of Education 2017/2018 Meeting Dates

CAPE MAY CITY — Whereas N.J.S.A. 18A: 10-6 requires every Board of Education to meet at least once in every two months; and
WHEREAS it has been determined that the orderly transaction of school business is best served by holding one regular meeting in the school at 6:30 p.m., typically on the second Thurs. of each and every month,
Now, therefore, be it resolved that the following schedule of regular meeting is hereby adopted by the Cape May City Board of Education for the ensuing year; with the exceptions noted by asterisk:

Sept. 14, 2017
Oct. 19, 2017
Nov. 16, 2017
Dec. 14, 2017
Jan. 4, 2018 * Reorganization
Jan. 18, 2018
Feb. 15, 2018
March 15, 2018
April 12, 2018
April 26, 2018 * Public Budget Hearing
May 10, 2018
June 14, 2018

Meetings will be held in the Library. All meetings are held in compliance with Ch. 231, Laws of 1975 (Open Public Meetings Law) with Roberts’ Rules of Orders used in conduct of meeting.
Work session meetings will be held prior to each regular meeting at 6:00 p.m.
Cape May City Education Foundation meetings will follow the regular meetings as business arises.
