Cape Issues: County Home Sales 2000 vs. 2010

In working to improve efficiencies in the decisions that impose taxes and authorize spending of our tax money in Cape May County, we have compiled information on property values which many may find interesting and useful. This week we are publishing a chart of the latest 2010 Average Residential Sales Prices compared to what they were ten years ago in the year 2000.
In future weeks, we plan to publish additional information, such as year to year comparisons, which will allow you, readers and taxpayers, to better understand how sale prices eventually affect your tax bills. . On Nov. 24, we will print the 2010 vs. 2009 Average Residential Sales Prices & Tax Bills showing the latest changes between years.
