Michael James “Mike”
Pessagno
Born May 3, 1957, Mike lost his courageous battle with cancer on July 15, 2025. He was predeceased in death by his parents, Charles and Mildred
Pessagno. Mike was a lifelong “native” of the Wildwoods. An Alum of
Wildwood Catholic High School, Michael graduated with and associate's in
arts degree from the Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, NY. He loved
cooking and spent his career as a Executive Chef in the kitchens of Gloria's,
Duffy's on the Lake, the Boathouse and Neil's. Even with his illness he worked on the line at Mulligan's
Michael is survived by his siblings, Sr. Marguerite Pessagno RSM, Charles
(Eileen), Kathleen (Chuck) and Paul (Diane), along with many nephews,
nieces, great nephews and great nieces.
Services are currently pending. The family requests donations be made in Michael's memory to the Michael J Fox Foundation or Wildwood Catholic Academy. Condolences at ingersollgreenwoodfh
